‘Spotlight On Reddish’ is signposting events in Reddish over a two week period. Supported by Levelling Up funding, the programme will provide details of at least 30 events via it’s website and social media networks, and use funding to support participating organisations where required.
Running from Sunday March 24th to Sunday April 7th, Spotlight will encourage people of all ages to take advantage of events that are mostly free admission, and highlights of the fortnight include Reddish soul diva Karen James performing live at Worker Bee Easter Saturday Market, Easter Weekend fun days and Easter Egg hunts, Stockport Youth Music Project open evening, Stockport Music Story hosted by Banter & Brews at Re-Dish, and craft workshops at Knit2Tog.
There are church services featured, writing and music technology workshops, an internet safety cafe and an Originality Cabaret Words and Music event.
Spotlight will be launched with a live stream show at 7pm on Sunday March 24th, and the website and social networks can be found at www.spotlight-on.co.uk.
