As with all aspects of Post newspapers, the input and contributions of the community make the papers a true part of the communities they serve.
In 2024, we are planning seasonal ‘wraps’ which will cover the front and back of every Post newspaper four times during the year.
The imagery for the wraps will come from you, the community, and so, we are asking you to embrace your creativity with a drawing to reflect the season. This can be either hand drawn/painted (scanned and sent via email), created digitally – or even a photograph. You don’t need to be especially artistic – this is for you to have the opportunity to contribute to and be a part of your community newspaper.
The themes are and deadlines for artwork are:
- Spring – March issue, deadline 7 February 2024
- Summer – June issue, deadline 7 May 2024
- Autumn – September issues, deadline 7 August 2024
- Winter – December issue, deadline 7 November 2024
This opportunity is open to any age and we will include as many as we are able with the space available. As long as we have permission, contributor names will also be included.
